Adventures in Odyssey

Adventures In Odyssey

In 1986 Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family wanted to produce a drama series for the radio that would appeal to 8-12 year olds – in the hope of countering some of the questionable programming many kids were getting from Saturday morning cartoons. He wanted a program that would take place in a small town where characters could explore the events, concerns and issues facing today's families.

"Adventures in Odyssey" can be heard on more than 2000 broadcast facilities throughout North America and around the world. And the release of “Adventures In Odyssey” on cassette and compact disc has also made it popular for travel (either near home or on long trips), home-schooling, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, discussion times, bed-time or wherever it can’t be found on your local radio station.

Legacy Builder - We have a family tradition of picking up a new set of Adventure In Oydssey tapes or CD's each time we go on a road trip.  The tapes keep us fully occupied for the first 3 hours of our trip.  We love them as much as our children!
