Movie Reviews

Lights, Camera, Action!

Never before have our children been exposed to so much media, but more importantly never before has the media been able to influence and mold the opinions of our children no matter what their age.

As parents, it is our job to wade through all of the cultural influence and help our children make good decisions on their entertainment choices.  It is also important that we are setting good examples for our children for healthy and moral choices in entertainent.

The big question is how do we do this and where do we go for help?

Here's what families are saying about these resources:

" Before our teens even ask to see a movie they check it out themselves on the Bishop's website.  It has made our job a lot easier and there is no fighting about whose friends have seen what movies!"

"We use these sites to review movies when at the video store.  If we are unsure about the movie we call home on our cell phone and within minutes we know if a movie is appropriate for the evening.  No more starting movies and turning them off - disappointing everyone and ruining the evening!"
